Not proven by a majority on five charges...guilty on the sixth
Lamont was cleared of five of the six charges he faced but was found guilty on the seventh. (See reports posted earlier)
The jury found that he seized Vera Graham, punched her on the head struggled with her, pushed her out of the door of his home in Rose Street, Thurso, causing her to fall down a set of steps and strike her head on the ground, all to her severe injury.
Lamont, 50, will be sentenced on August 3.
