Thurso Caithness Writers

Many years ago there was a Caithness Writers group that met in the Pentland Hotel. the guy who ran it was John Somebody. Does any one know anything about them, or can put me in touch with any of the members?

None in Thurso any more but there is one in Wick.

I don't think so. As far as I know he lives in the
Springpark area.

I belive there is a writers group in Thurso...but I only found out by accident last night...will let you know if any details of when and where come through as seeing a member tomorrow evening...

Please do let us know. The guy who ran the group about ten years ago worked at Thurso College, was John ? I remember going up one night when a Swedish Writer was giving a talk. Said she used to be a mistress of King Farook. She was here as part of the Northland's Festival. There was quite a crowd there. someone must remember.
