18:15 Mina MacKay’s Highland Dancers Display Ellan bridge car park, Riverside Road
18:15 Judging of Floats Ellan bridge car park, Riverside Road
19:00 Gala Crowning Ceremony, Pride of Thurso Award followed by the Parade of Floats & Fancy Dress Walkers, led by Wick RBLS Pipe Band the Gala Queen and Court & their Guard of Honour Kuk Sool Won and Thurso Gymnastics.
Mina Mackay’s Highland Dancers Display followed by Caithness Big Band
20:00 Gala Entertainment with Mike Devine, Royal British Legion, entry free.
21:30 Pennylane is playing in the Holborn Hotel. Donations welcome
22:00 Skinandis Over 18 years only, check Skinandis facebook for details.

Sunday 26th June
12:00 Clay Pigeon Competition, see Kathness Clays facebook for more details.
13:00 Autocross Competition Scrabster junction, see caithnessautocrossclub.co.uk for details.
14:00 Baby Show, Rugby Club, Millbank, £3 per Baby. Forms at Sutherlands Chemist, Cairngorm Windows or at the event.
18:30 Car Treasure Hunt leaving from Rugby Club, Millbank & returning there for the results, entry £5 per car


Monday 27th June
18:30 Guided Walk starting at Thurso Town’s Clock courtesy of Thurso Heritage Society. Proceeds towards the Heritage Society.

Tuesday 28th June
19:00 Pointless, Mill Theatre, entry £3 per adult, £2 per child.

Wednesday 29th June
19:00 3k Fun Run/walk open to all ages, under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult, entry £3.
19:00 5k run 12 years and over, entry £5. Registration Thurso Youth Club, from 18:00-18:45, enter on the day. 19:30 Adult Quiz Night, Holborn Hotel, £2.50 per adult, maximum of 6 people per team.

Friday 1st July
11:00 Churches Open Day Mystery Tour, free entry, passport form available from nearest church.

Saturday 2nd July
21:30 Cover to Cover is playing in the Holborn Hotel. Donations welcome.

Inter town youth football Wick vs Thurso - spectators welcome at the Dammies check out facebook for the time on 26th June.

Thurso School’s Annual Gala Competition - Topic is “The Movies” entries will be displayed in Caithness Horizons in July.
Photo Competition - Free entry e-mail info@thurso.org or tag your photo on Facebook to Thurso Gala by 10th July 2016. See posters/facebook for rules & regulations.

Colouring, Red Herring & Word Competitions are available from Cairngorm Windows or McBeath Jewellers from 20th June, the competitions start on the 25th June. Apart from the photo competition, all entries must be returned to Cairngorm Windows or McBeaths by 12:00 on Monday 4th July.

Participating in or running your own activities in the Gala will be at your own risk. Some events advertised may be insured by the organising group.

TTIA wish to remind the Public that COIN THROWING can cause serious injuries and may lead to a criminal conviction. For the safety of everyone, please do not throw coins inappropriately or allow children to do so. Please adhere to the licensing law. Please do not smoke in any spectator areas or in queues at events. If you wish to take a dog to any outdoor events, please ensure it is on a lead and is properly supervised.
