Man up or spend years inside warns Wick sheriff

A SHERIFF told a man with a record that he would have to mend his ways or face spending years of his life in custody.

The accused, Morgan Stubbings 18, admitted resisting and obstructing the police at the Waterfront nightclub in Wick on May 8 and breaching a curfew.

Sheriff Andrew Berry said at Wick, today that the accused had no memory of his actions as he had consumed 100 tablets over a two-day period. and warned him that he could arrive at a point where his health failed, with the possibility of death following.

Stubbings, of 18 Nicolson Street, Wick, was sentenced to four months at a young offenders institution.
