Bluebells

Does anyone know where I can take my elderly Mum to see bluebells? We used to go to Forss House Hotel
but over the years the ground elder grows so tall that it tends to hide them! It would need to be somewhere that is just a short distance to walk. Much appreciated if anyone can help.

We passed some on the corner turning towards Achvarasdale House yesterday. Not what you want but better than nothing. Gardeninginagale kindly gave me some corms last year so I suspect he has loads at home. Maybe he would be kind enough to let you visit with your mum. He sells plants at the weekends from home. Hope this helps.

Strathnaver is the only place I know where proper bluebells grow up here.

Thanks Lizz , don't know that area too well, would you need to be fit for walking to see them ?

We passed quite a few on the road between Haster and Tannach last night. There were a few clumps with white bells on too mixed amongst the blue ones.
