View Full Version : May the Fourth be with you...

HelCat Training
04-May-16, 10:28
As Star Wars fans around the world unite with cries of “May the Fourth be with you” in celebration of Star Wars Day, it got me wondering what day of the year would be apt to dedicate to training here at HelCat!

We could go with February 14th as we love what we do so much, or July 4th in celebration of being a successful independent business, or we could just be boring & go with June 8th as it’s our birthday (hint hint!), but these dates are celebrated anyway, and none really encompasses how we feel about what we do.

The only one which seems at all appropriate is ‘March Fourth and Train’ but that's pretty lame, so we're going to cheat and say that ‘Every Day is HelCat Training Day’ as training shouldn't just be limited to a day or a short term course - it’s a lifelong project!

This month’s projects contain a wide variety of Industrial and Health & Safety courses designed to ensure you and/or your workforce are kept up to industry requirements. Use this link (http://www.helcattraining.com/calendar/2016-05/) to view them on our website, or you can download a PDF (http://www.helcattraining.com/download/training_calendars/HelCat-Training-Calendar.pdf) to keep for handy reference.

If you need to book or get more information on any of the advertised courses, then please get in touch with Angela on 01847 894560 or by email to angela@helcattraining.com. If you have a requirement for a course which is not listed on the calendar, then let us know and we will do our utmost to assist in the near future.

We are continuing to offer CITB CSCS / CPCS Health, Safety & Environment (Touch Screen) Tests, and NPORS / CPCS Dumper / Excavator / Forklift / MEWP / Roller & Telehandler, available throughout the month, and are also able to run CHAS & ISO QA Accreditation Workshops and VQs in Business Admin, Construction and Management – if interested in any of these then please contact us ASAP.

In June & July we’ll be running CoSHH, CPCS AP & Crane Supervisor, Fire Warden, IOSH Managing Safely, Plant/Vehicle Marshalling, and SAGE courses so advance bookings for any of those can be made to secure place(s).

As always we may be able to help with potential funding opportunities which are currently available, and can assist with CITB Applications for CISRS, CSCS, CPCS, ECS, JIB, SJIB, NPORS & NRSW Cards, as well as working towards CPCS blue cards for those whose red card is due to expire soon.
