CSCS Health & Safety Training
(CSCS Labourer Card)
The next course we are running will be JUNE 2016.
The course runs for 3 hours on a Friday afternoon and 3 hours on a Saturday morning. People have to attend both sessions, and complete the final assessment in order to get their certificate.
With the Health & Safety certificate you can then apply to Pearson Vue to sit your CITB test, with both of these certificates you can then apply for your CSCS card to work on a construction site. (Pearson Vue is a mobile test centre and we will be book this for you once you pass the initial health and safety training)
People have found it hard to get the Health and Safety Training as it is not possible to complete online. The tutor is well established and does training on the Dounreay site.
We have a maximum of 14 places available and all applicants MUST HAVE an open ILA account.
Please apply for your ILA now if you wish to be considered as you will not be accepted unless you have ILA available.
Please note there are three stages to gaining your CSCS card and this could take around 3-4 weeks to complete.
Normally the course costs in excess of £200 each to complete (including the workbook & assessment) but by doing this through the Pulteneytown People's project this will be paid for by using your ILA.
