Just wondering if anyone could let me know a rough cost of leaving my car in inverness from Friday to Sunday?
Preferably near the train station

Thanks

pick any carpark you like
as long as its not council owned
or council owned land.

they are the only ones that can issue
PENALTY CHARGE NOTICES
which under Scottish laws are legally enforceable
through the courts

any private car park or land.
can only issue a parking charge notice [or other words used]
which in all intent and purpose are:
speculative invoices
and can NEVER be enforced under Scottish law
as there is not tort of trespass.

you simply ignore them.

Good to know...

Now, where do you live & do you have a driveway?
I might need to park the car in Wick sometime.

There is a small carpark at the railway station. I think the parking was about £10 for a few days. the machine often doesnt work and you can go in and pay in the station.

it is correct
if you read that more carefully
he decided to cough up before court,

if you read something like the Parking Prankster site
you'll see it has since been discovered
that this was an ex employe/family member
of the parking company
and they actually acted as a stooge

Just do what the locals do park at Raigmore and take the bus into town. Thats why you can never get parked there when you have to attend for an appointment.
