COUNTY residents are being called on to welcome home Kayden Gordon after he underwent a succesful operation in the US to help him walk. Kayden's selective dorsal rhizotomy operation by Dr Tae Park at the end of January and hamstring lengthening surgery in February, have proved a resounding success. Kayden's movement is now much freer than it was.

THE company behind the £20 million development of the former mart site in Thurso is keen to work with Highland Council to take its application forward. That was said yesterday by Bryan Wilson, group development director for London Scottish Investments which wants to regenerate the derelict site in Ormlie Road.
