Anyone ken e craic about the helicopter cutting about over stemster gillock area tonight?

Think it was around the other night too?

they are over reay they have been here all night since 8.00pm over the houses and the bay

The crew launched on their first shout of 2016 this evening (Monday 11th January), following a report of a parachute seen coming down in the sky off Drumholliston.
Our Severn class lifeboat The Taylors launched at 18.40 and arrived on scene at 19.15 where the crew began their search off Sandside Head. The weather in the area at the time was squally hail showers with a slight swell.
Local Coastguard teams were also on scene searching the coastline with the Stornoway Coastguard Helicopter, Rescue 948 searching from the air.
Having carried out a search of the area as instructed by Shetland Coastguard and found no sign of anyone or a parachute, the Lifeboat was stood down around 21.00, arriving back in Scrabster at 21.40.
The Coastguard Helicopter who had left the scene to refuel at Wick Airport, returned to carry out a further search and was stood down around 22.45.
