A PLAN to site a in Caithness is set to spark controversy. The proposal will be of concern to the whole community, according to Gillian Coghill Highland Council's interim Caithness committee chairwoman.


A CROFTER is warning a fatal accident will occur at an A9 blackspot in Caithness, unless improvements are made. James Miller would like to see the stretch at Borgue between Dunbeath and Newport, Berriedale, re-aligned or crash barriers installed.


STRONG Highland Council support is needed for the area to benefit from renewable energy projects in the Pentland Firth according to a community councillor. Dunnet and Canisbay Community Council made the plea in its response to the draft Highland-wide development plan for 2017 to 2035.
