I put a thread up about this a while ago! The Tempest tried having a singles night in the summer but I think only about two people were going so they changed it to ' make a friend' night. I didn't go then because you can imagine coming away from a singles night and not getting a date but imagine how humiliating it would be to go to a 'make a friend' night and come away without making a friend! It wouldn't help the self esteem much :)
