Apart from all the money that has been thrown away, it seems Tesco's had no intention from as far back as 2010 to build a new store where the Mart was !

Highland Council - well known for careful use of taxpayers money and never ever known to waste a penny on coucil offices and that sort of thing. I mean -only thousands and thousands for scaffolding round a chimney at the Golspie offices - how did they manage to do that so cheaply ?. Well at least they,ve saved a fair bit on not cutting the road verges on narrow country roads, but hey - that might actually have been a public service.
