Local man accused of weapon assaults in incident
A WICK man is facing charges of assault with a weapon.
Alexander MacAlpine made no plea or declaration when he appeared from custody, on petition, in private before Sheriff Andrew Berry, at the town's sheriff court, today.
The two assaults, the 26-year-old stands accused of, are said to have occurred in Wick, on Wednesday.
He was released on bail pending further inquiry.
