Meiklejohns, Wick- temporary closure for renovations

Good Morning. We are having renovation works carried out on the shop, Meiklejohns Confectioners, 5 Thurso Street, Wick, during the week commencing Monday 12th October.

Some plans still need to be finalised but we will probably be closed for business from Monday morning (12th) to Friday night (16th). We will confirm the exact dates nearer the time. PLEASE make sure you know where an alternative shop is for your Paypoint needs - gas/electricity/phone top ups etc. as, even if we secure alternative premises for the week we will not have Paypoint facilities.

We know this is going to be a nuisance for you and apologise in advance for the upheaval.

I can confirm we will be closed for five days from Monday 12th October to Friday 16th October, opening as usual at 8 a.m. on Saturday 17th October.

We will be trading as normal up to close of business at 10.30 p.m. on Sunday 11th October although you may find we have low stocks of some items. Everything in the shop is going into storage so we are running stocks down. We will be stopping serving scooping ice cream at about 9 pm so we can prepare the freezer for storage.
