I wish they would.......I love Dobies, but I don't expect they'd sell enough up here to make it worth their while. They are coming to Inverness though!

If it is a Dobbies and it,s a big one with a food hall then you're in for a treat!
We have one near us and their infused oils, garlic, truffle, rosemary etc. are lovely! They also do flavoured balsamic vinegars, such as fig balsalm, all yummy for dipping crusty bread in.

Oh yes! I believe they also sell plants!

Is it true they are very expensive for plants?

They can be very expensive.
They tend to bump up the added value by sticking plants in wee ceramic pots!
Large Dobbies, often called Dobbie's world, provide space for various franchises to operate..usually around xmas. This can be useful in creating a one stop shop for thefoodie, gardener, golfing frat. to buy pressies!
If you have a good garden centre and want good solid plants and advice then stick to your local supplier. He at least will know the soil, growing conditions, weather etc.
Dobbies, however, should get a visit at least once to see what it can offer you.
What it does, it does really well!
