After all the hyperbole about the MPs pay rise and how many intended to donate it to charity it would appear so far that not one MP from any party has actually followed through on this pledge.http://www.sunnation.co.uk/not-a-single-mp-donates-any-of-7k-pay-rise-to-charity-despite-pledges/

Quote from the article “There are, of course, many different ways of donating and the information held by IPSA does not necessarily reflect the total number of MPs who donate to charity."Sigh

" sigh " if you make a very public statement of intent as an MP to donate a portion of your wages to charity due to your outrage at your pay rise, then common decency dictates that you also make it very publicly open to which charities those donations are going.
Or else somewhat long in the tooth cynical members of the electorate will think it's all just hyperbole with no actual action being taken.
Now what happened to all that extra money Mr Salmond was going to donate from his two wages , seemingly non of its been donated to the charity he said it would.

Mock outrage..........we are all cynics once we hit the 30 mark we've seen and heard enough crap, once upon a time there used to be conviction politicians... now its just another career opportunity for those who cant really do anything but spout...and its a very cushy one...where would our own MP earn £65k.....unless he gets a job with HC.... he's not worth half of what he shoves in his hipper anywhere else. At least Rifkind was honest in publically moaning about the meagre ( in his eyes ) wages....as for the rest....two faced chancers laughing all the way to the nearest wine bar, scoffing suchi at £50.00 a plate...poor soles. Salmond, did he not do exaclyt same when he had the 2 jobs the last time ? I fhe says money will go to charity it will be the one between his throat and bellybutton.

You do kinda have to wait until they get it, which will be in their July pay, and backdated to May in the August pay. What they don't yet have, they can hardly donate.......can they?

And you could have noted that at the end of the article it said
There are, of course, many different ways of donating and the information held by IPSA does not necessarily reflect the total number of MPs who donate to charity.“As of 22 July 2015, there are seven Members of Parliament who are signed up to make a donation to charity in July’s payroll via the Give As You Earn scheme.

“This figure does not include any MPs who have enquired about, or will begin donations starting from August.
“MPs have until 10 August to submit a form if they wish to have the deductions included in the August salary.”

but then that wouldn't have let you whine, would it?
