Help please with busses/train..

Has anyone got any ideas how I could get from Wick, after 3:30pm to Glasgow on a Friday by either bus/ train- not arriving in Glasgow too late.

there is a train that leaves wick at 15.52 that runs to glasgow (2 changes) but u dont get in till about twenty to twelve

the bus leaves at quarter past 4 from thurso but it gets u into inverness around the same time as the train, about 3 mins difference me thinks. but you'd have to take the train from inverness because i cant find any buses runnig to glasgow at that time

There is a site on here, sorry cant remember the name, where people share lifts. those offering a lift to somewhere, and those wanting a lift, are matched up for the car share scheme for that trip. maybe a car driver is going to glasgow at the same time. hope you find it, it may be worth a try.
