Accused of incident in holding cell at court
A THURSO teenager is to stand trial, accused of assaulting a security officer at Wick Sheriff Court.
Dominic Long, pleaded not guilty when he appeared from custody, today, and was again remanded pending his trial on April 28.
The indictment alleges that the 19-year-old headbutted G4S officer, Thomas Brock, in the holding cell area, beneath the court, causing him to strike his head against a wall, to his injury.
The incident is said to have occurred on December 29, last year.
