I am going to Harris and Lewis next week on a cycling trip, I was wondering if anyone had experience of fishing over there and if they could advise on what tackle to take with me. I was going to do beach/rock fishing for flatties, bass, pollack etc. I bought some rubbery sand eel lures, are they any good? I thought I could use limpets and mackerel for bait, any other ideas? I have got to consider that I am on a bicycle and I won't be able to take a spade with me to dig for bait.
