Accused banned from driving for a year after guilty plea
A YOUNG Lybster man will require to sit an extended driving test after a year-long driving ban imposed today, ends.
Unemployed Ben Thomson, 21, was also ordered to carry out 72 hours of upaid community work after he admitted driving with excess alcohol, at Wick Sheriff Court, and a record.
Thomas, of 1 Harbour Road, Lybster, failed a test, following an accident in which he swerved to avoid a deer on the A99 at the village, in the early hours of September 13, last year. It revealed a reading of 50 mgs - the legal limit is 35mgs.
