PRODUCTION at a busy Caithness factory has been suspended after a wind turbine crashed onto one of its buildings. Stephen Bremner, managing director of Ashley Ann Ltd, yesterday expressed relief that no-one was working at the firm's base at the time.

THE intention to build the first national archive for the UK nuclear industry has taken another step forward, after the submission of plans for the complex earmarked for the outskirts of Wick. A COMMUNITY cuncillor has hit out at "a few mindless vandals" who have damaged the fence at a path at Castlehil harbour for a second time. TWO NHS Highland nurses are to receive special training in dealing with people with breathing problems after being helped on their way by a Caithness man.
