An evening with a difference you can afford to duck

WICK's French restaurant Bord de L'eau is again hosting a charity dinner for the Caithness Heart Support Group.
It's their second such fundraiser and, if it is as successful as the one held a few years ago, it should boost the funds to enable the group to continue financing essential equipment for GP surgeries and Caithness General Hospital.
The dinner menu to be served from 7.30pm on February 26 is as follows:
STARTER - butternut squash and carrot soup; main course- confit of duck or a sea bass fillet with dill and lemon butter, served with pomme rissoles and ratatouille. SWEET- a mouth-watering chocolate torte with a raspberry coulis. Enjoy - to a background of dreamy French music by accordionist Monsieur Noel.
Tickets at £20 each, can be obtained from heart support group secretary, Marjorie Donaldson, on Wick 605545. Numbers are limited.
