I have purchased a smart tv from argos but my friend said i cant use the internet services on it even if its through wifi or an ethernet cable because he said his tv doesnt work but if someone can help me and tell me that i can use the internet through wifi through my broadband it will make my mind at ease

My son has one and it all works fine.

My daughter got one at Christmas and we just connected it up to WiFi and had no problems accessing the internet! Works better than iPad!

One caveat is that not all Smart TV's come with wi-fi built in, although all should have an Ethernet port as standard. If yours doesn't have wi-fi you'll need to purchase a separate wi-fi dongle to plug in if you want it working via wireless.
