Denies assault and threatening behaviour

A WICK man has denied charges of assault and threatening behaviour.
Richard Davidson, 36, appeared from custody at the town's sheriff court, today.
He is alleged to have grabbed his partner, Eilidh McIntosh, by the throat, dragged her to the living room of their home 25 Hill Avenue, Wick, and then into the hallway and pushed her onto a couch and shouted and swore at her.
The incidents are said to have occurred on Saturday. Davidson was granted conditional bail and will stand trial on March 19.

Accused of speeding at 103mph

A GLENGOLLY man is accused of reaching a speed of 103mph on the Hempriggs straight.
David Wade, 37, denies speeding in a 60mph on the A99 on June 11.
The charges allege that he committed the offence while overtaking two vehicles, and passing a pedestrian and close to entrances on both side of the road. Wade, of Pentland View, Glengolly will stand trial on March 18.
