We asked BT to give us a quote for a landline in 2007, the chap came & did a survey & we are still waiting so I cant se us getting fibre optic anything anytime soon, I use a dongle for my laptop [its a bit hit & miss] & yes I did call & phone them & in the end I gave up, the quote would have probably been astronomical anyway [ we are half a mile off the road]
