New Cables

Been seeing guys feeding cables down manholes around Wick the last couple of weeks,any idea what they up to.Fibre optic maybe ?

If the "cables" look a bit like a black hose with a yellow stripe then they are the ducts through which the fibre will be blown. There is a lot of this going on throughout the county just now.

Never noticed colour sorry,be fine if it is fibre optic tho.Would be good if it works as fast as they say it does.

They've been laying Fiber-optic out west from Tongue east towards Caithness for some time now.
