Thought I'd post this here in case anyone is interested in filming with DSLRs... I recently filmed a promotional video for Reids of Caithness, using a Canon 600D and a few basic lenses, including a couple of vintage prime lenses (that used to belong to my uncle, attached using an £8 adapter from ebay - definitely worth trying out if you know anyone with an old camera in their attic), a wee tripod and a slider made out of two plastic poles, a couple of bits of wood and some skateboard wheels...! I haven't ventured into the world of proper expensive equipment yet, but it's pretty cool what you can do with just the stuff listed above!
