KWK9 has been running now for over 5 years now and during this time it has become more and more apparent that one of the reasons for us being so busy is that there is a lack of financial help with costs of neutering and spaying dogs. We believe that this definitely contributes to the number of unwanted and stray dogs that eventually( if they are lucky) find their way to us.
We have thought for sometime that we would like to be proactive and tackle this at a grass roots level, but due to lack of funds we just simply haven't been able to do it very often but have been working towards the day when we could. We find ourself in the position at the moment that we are able to ringfence a limited amount of money and would like to offer help with part of the costs of neutering and spaying to Dog owners in Caithness only at this time.
We would ask that anyone in Caithness interested in applying for funding to get in touch with us expressing an interest at admin@kwk9.org by the 27th november 2014. We will then email you a short form to complete and then advise you whether your application has been successful shortly afterwards.
We can only answer applications made via email so please direct any questions or requests via this method as we will only consider these applications. the award of this funding will be decided by KWK9 Rescue and is subject to the ability of the veterinary surgeries to fit in appointments.
