The Taj Mahal offers beautifully cooked authentic Indian food, in our warm and friendly licensed restaurant and takeaway in Halkirk.
Our range includes tandoori, balti, curry, biyani, and vegetarian dishes, with a choice of rices, naans, chapatis and paratha sides. We also offer set meals, kebabs, omelettes, pizzas, burgers, chips and other kids favourites. We offer free delivery on orders over £20 and within 10 mile radius (delivery outwith these terms is available at extra cost on request)
On Thursdays we have a Banquet Night from 4.30pm - 11pm. This is a 4-course meal from our menu, for dining in only, at the bargain price of £10.95 per head, or £6.95 for children. Please note that king prawn dishes have a £3.00 additional surcharge.
Our popular Sunday Buffet, running from 4.30pm - 11pm, offers a choice of starters and main courses, so you can have one of our firm favourites, or try something new which might tickle your taste-buds. These are accompanied by a selections of sides, rices and naan breads. For a set price of just £10.95 per head, or £6.95 for children (under 12), it's hard to beat.

Finally, we are delighted to say that our very popular Courtesy Car service is available once more. Available for free for parties of 4-6 persons within a 10 mile radius which covers Thurso, Castletown, Bower, Scrabster and Watten.
