Was in CGH earlier, had to go to pharmacy.Walked along corrider where admin is,there about 10 offices where there are at least 2 in every 1.Is there any need for this as there is shorgage of doctors and nurses also specialist consultants. Where is get rid of half of Admin and get get consultants there. I think thats the problem in every hospital, most of Admin think the place not run without them,i think difererent. Any body else agree, unless you work there.

so how did you work that one out? did you open every office door, stick your neb in and count all the admin staff?

The shortage of doctors is mainly down to the fact that they don't want to move up here to work.

Maybe we could ask prospective consultants to do the hospital admin too, we are sure to get them bending over backwards to relocate then.

I was amazed to find that NHS wages are lower in Scotland than the rest of The UK, why?
I have also been mystified as to why neither The NHS, Ambulance Service or Holyrood knows what is being spent on treating patients.
Even under The Freedom of Information Act I have been unable to obtain costing for the above services which also strikes me as very strange and despite the assistance of my MP , have hit a brick wall.
I have a suspicion that some thing is drastically wrong and I think that it needs to be corrected very quickly.

How did you know they are all admin? Just because they work in an office does not mean they are admin.
