I would imagine you've all read this horrific story of the tragedy of over 50, rescue dogs, being killed in Manchester? :~( The response from the public was magnificent and the bravery of two lads, who entered the inferno to save 20 dogs was inspiring. Over £1.2 million has been raised to ensure the rescue is up and running again, as soon as possible. It makes you wonder, what is going so wrong when a 15 year old boy can contemplate committing such an awful crime? He has been charged and released on bail. Apparently, he was badly bitten by a dog, earlier this year and this was his vengeance! This is a story of tragedy, bravery and hope. It's a shame though, that so many animals had to perish for everyone to band together at such a harrowing time. Well done to all involved in the rescue.

On a lighter note. Is anyone watching, 'Our Zoo,' on BBC? Gripping stuff and a welcome change from the cares of the world. Well worth watching, if you can find the time. The first two episodes are on iPlayer, for those who may have missed it. Enjoy. :)
