How do you go about seeing a dentist? Do you need to go to NHS direct & they will allocate you one of do you contact the dentist practice directly?

Second question is who is good & who to avoid? Thanks

If you are in or near warm and calm Thurso ring the NHS dentist surgery at Dunbar hospital - 01847 896580. They are very pleasant and will answer all your queries. There are various accounts of the dentists employed there. I find them very kind and gentle and I don't get as scared as I used to about my appointments for dental stuff.

Good luck and don't forget to brush your teeth.
