Anyone going to IKEA?

Hi there

Is there anybody going down to IKEA in glasgow/edinburgh in the near future with a van? We are needing some glass doors taken home and the people in thurso are no longer delivering for them.

That's bad news? Is the Kiln Store not providing an IKEA service now?

IKEA did eventually have a delivery service but it's quite dear to Caithness. The last time I enquired it was a cost per palette and it was not cheap! I guess it's to tie in with being environment-friendly.

Can't help you with the van but I do know that IKEA are rolling out an online shopping facility this year. Not sure when Caithness will be on the delivery addresses though.

Hiya, yeah there online shopping is up and running but they are only delivering down in england for time being. We have found a company in Orkney that collects from them and will hopefully deliver to us on there way home!!

We collect from IKEA Edinburgh and Glasgow on a regular basis, we were actually there at Braehead yesterday.
