I know this is a bit early BUT is there any group in Caithness who delivers parcels to local elderly/cash strapped families? I'm sure a few years back i read about this being done. I know that Blythswood does a great job sending parcels at Christmas abroad but thought that this year I would like to support local folks going through hard times.

If you wish to help the Elderly who are having a hard time at Christmas, then The Salvation Army hands out Boxes at Christmas Time.

If it's for children try the Social Work Offices in High Street, Wick. If for the elderly I'm sure the Care at Home folk have an office in Pulteneyhouse.
