Highland Council's Community Services continues to work with partners in SEPA, Met Office, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and local communities to address the impact of storm damage throughout the Highlands. Leader of The Highland Council, Councillor Drew Hendry has hailed the multi-agency response to the weather, he said: "Highland Council and partners have acted swiftly to address the impact of the tail end of hurricane Bertha throughout our area, particularly in Kingussie and East Ross.
