I received an email today from "Caithness Business." It's a common scam email which reads: "We have uploaded this important newsletter for you using the google apps documents. to check out this docs click here..."

This scam is propagated from infected PCs and sent to everyone in the owners email address book. The email address it is from is
climber 22 @ gmail. com. If anyone knows who Caithness Business is or recognises the email address can you let them know their PC is infected and will need antivirus/trojan/spyware scans carried out asap.

If you receive an email like this, do not click the link in the email. It will take you to a website asking you to login at which point it records your login details and gains access to your email.

Just to confirm. Any email purporting to be from Caithness Business is false. We do not have any email accounts attached to the Caithness Business Index. All of our e-mail is sent from our personal e-mail accounts.

Just to confirm, any mail that anyone gets from anyone that purports to be too good to be true, to be after your bank account details, any other details, or to tell you that the Prime Minister of Nigeria has died in a plane crash and has left $27million dollars to your cat is a scam. There are millions of them out there every day. We don't need individual notification.

The innocent only become wise once, they only seem laughable once you know about them.
