I finally caught up with this tonight after recording it cos we have been so busy. What a delight this programme was. Wonderful footage and archive film, it was lovely to see Wick featured and I loved the footage of the steelworks and coal mines. I found the footage of the demonstrations and the tanks in Glasgow fascinating too. However above all, the best thing about it was the wonderful faces of the people featured. The music was just perfect and in fact I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. Touching and nostalgic. If you haven't seen it then try to catch it on iPlayer.
