Accused's drunken outburst at police station
A WICK man was intoxicated when he made offensive remarks to a police sergeant.
Graham Taylor passed comment on Sgt Michael O' Brien's Irish nationality and there was also a religious reference, Wick Sheriff Court heard, yesterday.
Taylor, 38, admitted threatening or abusive behaviour, racially aggravated, on December 21, last year, at Wick police station where he was being interviewed on a separate matter.
The accused was said to have apologised to the police officer the following day.
Taylor, 7 Mackay Street, Wick, will be sentenced on August 20 after Sheriff Andrew Berry considers a background report..
