I wish that the BBC online would give up using diphthongs instead of typing 'a' and 'e'.

They do it all the time now with words like Israel and Michael.

It's jolly aennoying.

Thy also have a lot of announcers that use the word "sez" when they mean "said"

I leap up and down with rage at ONGOING..what happened to continuing, AWEFUL being used as a synonym for bad when it means full of awe, comparatives that are grammatically incorrect. Bub Bye. for Good bye. I could continue but my blood pressure might reach boiling point!

Aye, that's the ones, but I must add, for the sake of common decency, that I only ever do it while enjoying a fricative or two in a sibilant manner (you understand), with many an implosive consonant to round off the perfect day.

LIZZ How awful is that?
