maybe true about poland i heard they shipped over a load of polish workers a while back - dunno about barry buying grant hall - he has a lovely house where is and to be honest i reckon he has more taste!!

I too heard that John Barry bought Grant Hall and that Norfrost is going belly up. Pat Grant is already away and living down in Grampian somewhere. Of course she won't be suffering financially. More than likely gettng out before it is too late.

i actually work at norfrost and have done for last year no truth in matter ,polish yes they were over here but a lot have gone home now they were good workers and reliable ,thats why they were here ,as for factory moving to poland dont think so things may be tight just now after christmas but orders are coming in .always do ,and for rumour someone said about pat being in grampian somewhere :eek: seen her today so dont always listen to rumours folks ,

Given that Norforst was been propped up by £zillions from CASE, then that as good as confirms it'll be a dead duck, a la Caithness Glass, Grampian Records, Hunters of Brora, Thurso Bowl, etc., and no doubt soon to be added to the list, AEA Batteries given the recent 'bung' required in that direction. You seem to specialise in mis-information Taymar. It was never anything like 75%. Now you want to sow mistrust of Pedro? Pedro's only crime on these boards was to try and put some truth on here. Perhaps you are the one who needs to come clean about motives?

Labour in Poland is 75% cheaper than over here do your research! So why did norfrost ship in workers ? Remove machines ,then ship out the workers again back to Poland ??If Norfrost was such a good employer why not employ locals?? Cheap labour!!!!!
