A teensy weensy suggestion....

You always advertise your sales on 'e org with less than 12 hours notice from the start time. Perhaps a little bit more advance notice might ensure you get the level of support you are looking for.

Just a thought....

the logs sales are usually advertised well in advance in the What's On section as in http://whatson.caithness.org/index.php?day=5&month=7&year=2014

My guess is the post is just an extra reminder in case some have forgotten.

The group is voluntary organisation and the small income derived from the log sales helps advance their work in keeping the forest going and paying the expenses involved. A great community resource that can only survive if the community also helps out.

More information and later log sale dates are on the web site at www.dunnetforest.org/

But Bill, we know that 'e orgers don't look up information that might be readily available, when its so much easier to start a thread in the General section beginning "Does anyone know...." ;)

or maybe even reply to a thread with a stupid reply without looking up the right information and then not have the balls to admit when they're wrong.

what's happened to you orkneycadian ? your rep is testament to the fact that once upon a time you were an interesting participant on the org.

for shame orkneycadian, for shame :(
