Does anyone one have a broody hen (or duck) they want to put some under as my geese are laying and I will be travelling north for the weekend and can drop them off. They are Embden greylag crosses and I don't unfortunately have any of the usual bantam mothers left.
For those of you who aren't into poultry domestic geese can be pretty disasterous parents which is why we usually look for foster parents. The fun starts and the parental bond is broken when the young grow bigger than Mum and start throwing themselves into water. P.M. me if anyone is interested.
