what has happened to all the money this year that the Council get for grass cutting as there is not much sign of it being used to tidy the road site grass verges and all the old folks who are at least ankle deep in grass because they haven't been t do it. Has the money gone elsewhere or did the not get the same amount or what can it be

ISS from Inverness have a fortnightly grass cutting contract in Thurso for folks who can not cut their own grass and have nobody else to do it for them. The work they have done so far round our neighbours has been of good quality and they tidy up behind them and take the grass away. Not bad for £12 a garden. Some local contractors did not even tender for it.

Yes, you are 100% correct as ISS cut our grass and they do so once every two weeks. So far they have done an excellent job and they leave the garden clean and tidy of all cuttings. :D
