Bower Church is holding a Flower Festival within the church from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th June (see the whats on for times on each day), the arrangements are to be themed around the First World War and they are calling it "The Last Summer of Innocence", the arrangements will be intermingled with memorabilia and photographs from the FWW.
The floral arrangements are being done by well talented local ladies and will no doubt be as spectacular as previous festivals that the church has held.
Afternoon teas with home baking are going to be served every day and on the Saturday there will be the judging of the Childrens Cartie competition and there will be a baking stall in the church grounds that day as well.
