So many people on the www yet we seldom get a peek behind the scenes and see where they're sitting when they're writing all these posts, making websites etc. etc.
I'll get the ball rolling, this is my humble little corner where I sit for many hours tapping away absolute inane rubbish on my keyboard....

Thank you for sharing your space -
I have never seen such a tidy room ! Not a thing out of place - I wouldn't dare show you where I work ! There are hundreds of books scattered all around, mountains of paper all waiting to be filed, more books and a big box of pens and pencils.
The shelves are piled high too with books and maps. And the drawers are stuffed so that now, few of them close properly.
It's cosy and warm here and this is where I am happy to work several hours a day.
I wonder who will be brave enough to show you their room.
I wish you many happy hours working away in your special room.

I work in the hall -the largest room in the house -surrounded by five bulging and rather unstable bookcases, a filing cabinet, a coatstand, an armchair, and all sorts of odds and ends that will be magically tidied away one day with no effort at all from me! :lol:

This is my little cubbyhole and "computer command centre". :lol: However, these pics were taken a while back, so though it gives an idea of the space, all the books and folders, and toys you see are no longer in here...I had a major clearout, and most of my fun stuff got moved out to my studio, and the rest of the "office stuff" is temporarily removed while we are waiting for our windows to be replaced.

:lol: Yeah, its in there somewhere, Connie! I admit, it got really squashed and untidy, being the only place in the house I had for my own play/work space, and I had to share it as the business office as well! Things are much better now I've got my studio in our garage loft.

:eek: I've no idea why that should be TMFDM. The links worked for me originally, and they are now...and Connie seemed to be able to get a peek about 2 min after I posted. Possibly a temporary glitch somehow?
What's the headphone amp then TMFDM? I just got hold of a RSA Tomahawk for my E500s....

It's a DarkVoice 336i MadPict, it doesn't usually reside there but I'm doing quite a bit of valve rolling at the moment and evaluating them sitting at the computer. The Ray Samuels Tomahawk seems to be going down very well over at Head-Fi how is it with the Shure E-500, does it drive the 32ohm impedance ok?
Nice "office" by the way ;) I love all those blue lights... cool as....

Just the living room coffee table... give it 10 years and there'll be no space on floor if kids come along. I hate housework. Then.... you're one to talk, I'd be too scared incase I leave a single fleck of dust in ur puter area!

Computer space??? We do not have computer space in our house. We sit either end of the sofa reclined with laptops on knees.
Hubby has his computer space out in his office, but usually when browsing internet/caithness.org, we just sit on the couch. Much more comfier than a computer seat!!

Lol, Metalattakk, I must agree with you on that! My computer space is a bit of a boorach too, thanks to my husband and sons, but not as bad as yours! I was using the laptop in the dining room for ages, but that's kaput at the moment. I am currently using the computer we have upstairs in the study, on a big old fashioned oak desk, in front of the window. I am surrounded by four bookcases, three of which almost reach the ceiling. There's also a cosy armchair, and even an ironing board set up in here! The desktop needs to be tidied, and hubby and sons have some books and other paraphernalia scattered on the floor. The only photo I'm willing to share is my profile pic. I took that with a webcam just over a year and a half ago. I was sitting right at this desk in front of the window, and all you can see is part of the door, and the pale aqua blue walls behind me. That's the tidy part, lol!

No, but he mews like crazy if he sees a picture of another cat on the screen...
Not just any other cat... it's silver tabby's...
He mews at himself in the mirror, I think that's the same kind of thing - if it looks like him then it is him lol [lol]
