Just thought we'd point out to all you avid listeners out there, when you are out in your car now your RDS on your car radio should now tell you whether you are llistening to MFR or CFM on 102.5 - sounds silly I know but we were quite chuffed when we saw it for the first time on Wednesday - I know easily pleased!!!!!!!!!!

Ours picked it up (and displayed it) when we got into range for CFM last time we were up north last year.

Just dont drive with your RDS on while listening as the signal is so weak it keeps cutting out, especially round the harbour in wick!!!

don't know how you managed to pick it up previously, the equipment was only installed on wednesday and the name was only entered then, up to now the only information stored on the equipment was morayfrth (yes that is how it was spelt) and there was no way of knowing which of the two stations you were actually listening to. freak signal????

Niall as to your comment, in the summer of this year MFR are having their aerials moved higher up the mast at Ben Dorrerry, we hope that this will improve the signal all round.
