It seems Unesco could be looking at making Culloden battle field a heritage
site Hopefully this will become no 3 in Scotland as St Kilda is already a site and Antonines wall is due soon for consideration

I see The Flow Country of Caithness and Sutherland is still on the tentative list of world hertitage status. Anyone any idea if there's any progress on this?

Not really heard anything for a while but UNESCO dont do things quickly The Flow Country application has been in their list since 1999 !!

Rheggers this gives the complete tentative list of UK UNESCO sites As i said the process seems to take a long time from being accepted by your "state" authorities as being elegible to make an application to getting on the tentative list and then eventually being accepted
