Has anyone tried the above deal advertised here (http://www.calor.co.uk/?gclid=CNm29OOzib0CFQUcwwodRwEA9Q)?

They say you will get the free boiler if you switch over from electric or oil and will also install an above or below ground gas tank as well. If you have used it, were there any problems or hidden charges etc? Can the free boiler run up to 8 radiators? Are they combi-boilers? Would you recommend it?

Would be interested to hear from you if you have done it?

Thanks for reading.

Not had that deal but in our last place we had Calor. It ran the combi boiler for hot water and under floor heating. The tank we bought for £250 from them (subsidised) and buried it underground. If we switched from Calor the tank had to be returned.
It worked out horrendously expensive even though it was a small bungalow that was very well insulated being a new conversion.
I should think Calor are losing many customers and are looking to replace them.

Stick to oil - cheaper than Calor. We changed 3 years ago and now regret doing it. Or if possible go for a multi-burner system.
