Camera App Locks Up

The factory fitted camera app on HTC Sensation comes up with a blank screen and locks up the phone. Tried factory reset, no change, so I tried a free camera app, still no joy. The rear facing camera works for Skype and the mirror app. The camera app is a great function, any Orgers have ideas on how to get it working again?

Seems you're not the only one - they suggest re-flashing the firmware to solve it, but another possibility is that the camera itself has died.
